Internal magazine redesign to feel fresh, boost engagement, and strengthen team connection.
Polypipe, a leader in sustainable building solutions, asked for a redesign of their internal magazine, Line Life.
The goal was to create a sleeker, more premium design that aligned with updated brand guidelines and delivered with a fast turnaround.
Create a polished, consistent design that reflects the refreshed brand identity. Deliver to a tight deadline without compromising quality, and manage sign-off across multiple internal teams and stakeholders.
I began by developing a ‘look and feel’ presentation so Jodie (Polypipe's Marketing Manager) could see the direction I planned to take. I organised the content into clearly defined sections that were easy to navigate and visually engaging. With the look and feel approved, I rolled out the design across the full issue, creating thoughtful, editorial-style spreads that:
• Elevated the layout while keeping it accessible to a broad internal audience
• Applied their new brand guidelines consistently without feeling rigid
• Balanced professionalism with approachability to reflect Polypipe’s tone
The redesigned magazine is a more enjoyable and engaging read, whilst fitting the business's new brand. This all helps Polypipe better connect with its internal audience and boost engagement.

"We approached Charlotte for help with a redesign of our internal magazine, where the goal was to ‘elevate’ the look and feel of the publication and we were thrilled with the result. We were working with tight timeframes but Charlotte made the process as easy as it could’ve been. The communication has been brilliant and she not only hit every deadline, but beat them. Charlotte has been a dream to work with and we would absolutely recommend her. We look forward to hopefully working with her again soon!"
