Turning complex research into a clear, engaging and branded brochure.
The Institute of Leadership, a professional body for leadership and management development, asked me to turn a Word document of ‘Veteran Productivity Skills research findings into an easy to digest report. The objective was to present the insights in a clear, engaging format that followed their established brand guidelines.
The original content was text and data heavy. The challenge was to transform the information into a well structured, visual and easy to absorb brochure.
I approached the report as a piece of editorial but with a strong consideration of navigation and infographic placement.
Key design strategies included:
• Thoughtful layout and headings to guide the reader
• Infographics to portray complex findings into digestible visuals
• Pull-out quotes and photography to add rhythm and interest
• Consistent brand styling to ensure alignment with the Institute’s visual identity
The final result was a brochure that not only made the research accessible and engaging but also reinforced the Institute’s credibility with a polished, approachable design.
